Ok so having had coil whine on 6 sets of cards and changed my power supply and motherboard I've decided to try and think of another method of stopping the noise.
I plan on watercooling both my 970's and the ek block fully covers the capacitors whoch will help muffle the noise and my plan is to also cover them in a 1mm thick thermal pad to further muffle the noise and hopefully make it inaudible.
Would this actually work and would it damage the card?
