Well, it`ll be similar. Expect 2/4 ram slots as they say they`re having issues with ddr2. Dunno how they`re having issues with old tech, maybe it`s to do with them trying ddr2&3 on the same mobo.

PCI loss isn`t good. They bank on u liking their sound and sa2/raid. U`d either need to get a newer pci-e sound card or w8 for a physx/tvcard/raid pci-e.

For the most part tho, a very high % of peoples will be ok with one pci slot. If u`r in the lower % I guess u just overlook it. Like options myself.

Was lookaing at this earlier.

From what I have seen, asus maximus vs gigabyte vs p5k vs p5b... x38 is not much of a step forward, being beaten by older mobos in some aspects and only leading very slightly.
