First MSI Gaming X, then EVGA, now this. What is it with these bad cooler designs?

Hopefully Galax/KFA2 will show them how its done! Also table shows the boost OC clock on the armor OC has a typo.

But considering such a miniscule difference in the clocks. I wonder how much of a spread in price these are.

The Amour isn't too bad but that green is horrible, now if they just got rid of the red on their gaming series that would be an improvement

That's why I commend Nvidia stock cooler. They are still by far the nicest looking coolers on the market. They hide everything, provide a snazzy clear window showing the vanes underneath and the fan and colour gives it that industrial metal look to it.

It can almost fit any theme for modders. My only gripe is their new crappy backplate which is split in half.

Well you can not have it all and no matter how good of a design they will make, it will never be 100% perfect. Will always be something that someone will "pick" on for not being right in their eyes

I'd like to think they'd do something new but you just know it'll be a rehash of their 900 series, 1060, 1070 & 1080 EXOC coolers which while nice are getting a little old now and the only other would be the HOF cooler but that's hideous and bulky.

I honestly think the cards that will do well would be the Gigabyte, XFX and Zotac but only time will tell.

As for cool coolers IMHO there are only 3 that scream class.

Close Second but there has to be a third - The XFX Double D

Well the strange thing is that if you look back at the old GTX260, that pcb was practically a shroud not a backplate. it covered everything top and bottom, I loved the looks of it. And still have it to this day in storage.
