Hi,

I want to purchase msi gtx 970 gaming 4g, and I have 500w silverstone psu http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=248

is this psu ok with that gpu ?

system info;

processor i7 2600
motherboard Intel DH67CL
Seagate ST31000524AS 1TB
WDC WD1600BB 160GB
ram 12 GB DDR3 1333MHz
psu SilverStone SST-ST50F-P 500W
my current gpu is "evga gtx 560 sc" (which i want to replace with gtx 970)
one DVD writer
4 fans(1x200mm, 1x140mm, and 2x120mm)
fan and led controller of storm tooper

The 970 uses 25-65 watts less power than the 560, you will be fine. If your rig is happy running the 560 (170 - 210W depending on core count) it will be fine with the 970 (145W).

On a side note, its a really nice card. I'm happy with the MSI GTX 970 4G, runs whatever is thrown at it @1920x1080. Will see what happens when i move up to 1440 next year.

No problem dude, I went from a 560Ti in my main rig to a 7970 then to a 970, prepare to have your mind blown with the performance leap!
