MSI GS63VR 7RF Stealth Pro 4K Review

1080p

Good review overall; the reasoning for 4k screen make perfect sense...why not just a 1080p at 15" since you are right and you definitely have to magnify everything....why not just go with 1440p (almost the same as 4k and not like EITHER of them are honestly the norm for screen anyways, not for laptop or monitors yet in my opinion).

Yeah 4k on a 1060.. a 1080 would struggle more often than not. I mean if you are playing WoW or LoL/Dota 2 and games like that it would be fine. But for anything serious.. just no.
Also the fact 4k would drain the battery life immensely.
Very decent 1080p results though. No surprise there.

Overall great review. I wouldn't mind more laptop reviews, always nice to have a change from custom PCs.

I must say that my old 4k monitor did used to down scale very very well. You would never know you were not on a 1080p/1440p screen. So I guess there's no real overall harm in having the screen 4k and then gaming at lower resolutions.

Thing is dude every one needs to offer stupid resolutions now 'cause Apple.

Apple is even worse. 5k with an even weaker GPU. :D
