Hello guys

This is my first post on this forum, which i just joined. have been watching the youtube channel of TTL for quite some time now.

I want to tell my story about what happened and maybe get some advice.

About 2 years ago i was studying in the uk and decided to build myself a new rig, mostly for gaming but i wanted to go all out on it, since i was willing to spend more than 3000 euro on it. 6 months after building the whole pc i moved back to cyprus as my studies were over.

i ended up buying a msi big bang xpower 2 motherboard. the board looked good, and i have been a customer of msi before with NO problems what so ever.

This board has been doing some weird stuff about a year after i bought it. random shutdowns, errors, the computer was even having trouble sometimes getting in bios.
i have literally tried everything. Changed the Ram, ssd, graphics card, the CPU which was a 3930k btw. even the power supply and still.

about 2 months ago from today. i walked in my room, and i smelled something burning. some chip from my motherboard was burned which damaged the motherboard beyond repair.

i contacted MSI about this, and they told me that they could accept the damage on my motherboard as under warranty. the only drawback was that i had to send the motherboard back to scan, where i bought all of my components from, and that was simply NOT cost effective. shipping back and forth from the UK would cost me about 250 GBP and to buy the exact same motherboard with shipping from amazon is about 242.
MSI has completely ignored me about this. i emailed them more than once asking if anything else can be done and i was even willing to pay the shipping of the new motherboard to my house.

any advice?
what should i do with msi?
any x79 motherboard suggestion?
