MSI announce their GTX 1080 Gaming X RGB GPU

Rgb and still colored accents on the cooler, yeah sounds like logic :P

Indeed, this is exactly why the Original Godlike was a fail.

It is only one small part of the design, so it won't be too bad. Perhaps they have a "black edition" in the works.

"Sadly with this GPU coming in RED and black the RGB LEDs illuminated logo offers no real advantage, as any colour other than red or white will clash with the rest of the GPU" gets repeated twice ^^ not sure if that was meant to be?

That aside

it does look cool though

So this is dimensionally different right? It looks way shorter but much deeper than the standard layout

Nobody commented on the 6+8 Power and custom power delivery phase? Is this OC3D???? Who cares about the RGB. I want to see a custom bios/afterburner unlock over 120% target. Then lets put it on water and see what you can really get from GP104!

Can't believe MSI were so STUPID to do red and black AGAIN with RGB! Their whole marketing team needs sacked and replaced with people with brains :dammit:

Not going to happen well we know what MSI is like, They love to make boneheaded moves

Red/Black with RGB doesn't make any sense what so ever.

I actually think it's looks real good. Didn't even know it had RGB, not a deciding factor for me anyway. For a black/red build it's perfect.

I really like that they're moving towards matte finishes, and that hint of carbon fiber is so sexy! The glossy red is still retarded, though.

This GPU features a fully custom PCB, giving this GPU enhanced power circuitry and allows this GPU to achieve higher overclocks and allows this GPU to use a larger GPU cooler design that ensures that this GPU will run cool and quiet under load.
This sentence is pure horror. This GPU, this GPU, this GPU... Waaaaa

I agree on the topic, though. RGB lighting makes no real sense, when the actual color scheme is predefined.
