Hey guys,
I'm going to be moving back home in a few days after my finals have finished. I usually drain my system before packing my rig away, but I realized I left my second pair of quick disconnects at home, so draining the system would consist of me cutting some tubing. This wouldn't be a problem for me, but seeing as the trip back home is only an hour and a half drive, I was thinking of avoiding the whole draining procedure.
I am pretty comfortable with my loop in terms of o-ring seals and fitting tightness. Was just wondering what your thoughts on moving rigs without draining are. I know it's probably frowned upon in the water cooling community, but it would just save me a couple hours in terms of draining and refilling the loop.
Of course, I would still perform a pseudo-leak test when I power the rig on again back at home. In addition, I could take certain precautions such as wrapping all the fitting joints with paper towels, etc.
Thanks guys!
