Moving from console to PC Gaming...Need advice & help.

Hello fellow members,

Fed up with the of improvements coming to the next gen consoles....been doing research for the past two weeks on building my own gaming pc.

I have attached a screenshot of what parts I have picked out so far. Only thing I am not sure about is the monitor and need help on choosing a high end gaming monitor. Would be helpful to find out what you guys use for a gaming monitor. The reason I picked a 27" monitor is due to my desk being somewhat deep and the distance I will be sitting from it.

I have a budget of £2600 but would be great to save where I can too. Would be helpful to know where I can save money on this build, which parts can be replaced with something similar or greater at a lower cost if it is possible.

Really excited about this project as it's a new challenge & actually feel this would give a proper since of next generation gaming.

I was wondering also where I could save to add in a GTX 780Ti....waiting for other company ones with better cooling to arrive.

Thanks for taking out your time to help.

Look Forward to the helpful advice.

Thank You

Your image is really small and we can't really see what's on the list. Please upload it to an image hosting site like Imgur, Imageshack or PhotoBucket and edit your post with a hotlink :)

Can't see the image but with a budget of £2600 you should have 2 x 780ti in there...

maybe not if AMD's mantle turns out good but yes 280/290 or 780/780ti are a must for a high gaming rig, not necessarily two, depends on what resolution.

Personally I'd have 2 290x's but the OP said they want a 780ti, so I'm just saying that for £2600, there is plenty of cash for 2 of them ;)

yeah two 290x under a nice water loop.......

but i would go 780 for air/ AIO cooler. that 290x cooler would need the case anchored to the floor
