What the hell need do I have for a disk that is 250gb? Why don't people stop improving the storage capacity and increase the speed of these things. I can see the applicaion for business and media companies, but for the home user, whats the point of having damagable media that stores that much.

Sorry but I just don't see the point

I agree, you arnt really going to use that much space. We dont need this more capacity crap! Get the speeds up then worry about size, jesh. P.S. think about all the extra crap you will need at home to run the new format of things! $$$$$$
 
I 4 one love the idea :) A single disk which can be kept in the drive all the time will hold more shit than I could download in 50 years :D
