Most overpowered gaming rig ever?

So Elric has made a video about his personal gaming rig.

To summarize he has 128gb of RAM and 2 6 core Xenon's for his gaming rig.

I get that this is the kind of he can do it so why not type thing but just why would you bother with 128gb ram for a gaming rig :L

It isnt just for gaming he made a video a while back saying what he was using it for etc etc

Unless you're Swiss and have a mighty large proton collider to deal with, I can't really comprehend any justification behind 128GB of RAM other than 'because I can'.

As a gaming rig it takes FAIL to a whole other level haha

Thats what people were telling me about going from 6gigs to 24. back in early 2010.

I settled on 12gigs and A 2 tera HDD in the end though >.>

IMO if you are gonna over do something you had better overdo it right. Elric has not done it right IMO. I wish I could stand the way he talked because looking at the thumbnails he has some good stuff but dear goodness. He speaks the same way that text is spaced in justify format it just grinds my gears

Its a shame though because lets face it, an Overclock3d rampage 4 with the same GPU's would smash it in every game.
