Most Nvidia GPUs are available at MSRP in the UK

Probably just as much to do with the fact that they're all going to be EOL in about 2-3mths, rather than any decline in mining.

While not technically EOL they will be "potentially" replaced with whatever NVIDIA has coming out next for the gaming market. Now whether they will actually introduce a new gaming variant of Volta in this year is another thing altogether.

Personally I don't see them bothering this year as AMD has nothing to offer for competition yet and so why would NVIDIA play any of the cards they have in their hands without seeing what AMD has. Because lets face it, that is how it almost always happens between those two companies.

But I digress...just put Pascal is not becoming EOL any time soon simply because that isn't what EOL stands for. EOL stands for "end of life" or when a product will no longer be supported / updated / maintained / marketed by any part of the company..so think Windows XP getting its EOL :)

No, no I would totally say it is because mining has plunged. It really has. Last week I saw two Titan XP (big pee like mine) sell for £500 each with blocks on. That's the extreme low, but 1080Ti are now changing hands for £540 or so. Not a whole load of AMD yet, apparently the 580 and 480 are still pretty good but yeah the Nvidia stuff is flooding in now.

Oh to add. I really hope Nvidia has made loads of GPUs they now can't sell. It would serve them right (and I said that months ago).
