Good new - I got a reply from Aria on my motherboard.

They said that the board was defective and they are giving me a full refund!

I will never get another MSI board again. The damn thing felt so damn breakable that I was scared to touch it, never mind install stuff on it. The DFI board I have now feels solid. Been on the MSI forums and there are so many people with problems compared to DFI boards that I reckon MSI should seriously review their QC procedures!

Mine was a K7N2 delta 2 Platinum nforce 2. POS!

Still - the functions of the mobo are good, its just that it broke without me doing anything to it.

I've built 212 machines with various MSI boards.

One doa, a K7T Turbo2 for a personal rig...replaced with no questions asked from PC Club and rma'd two years, six months later after I killed the bios chip after 3 months of intensive cooling solution(s) testing. Got a brand new board in 25 days.

I've either been very lucky or we don't have a very good sampling of msi users in this particular thread.

I've used my share of MSI mobo's in the past but when you get two DOA's in a row, that says something about quality control, lol. After that I vowed never to use or support MSI again.

Where the hell did my post go?

I got one DOA and that was enough. That and the "feel" of the board. Compared to the DFI it felt as though if I breathed on it it ould break. Don't like handling stuff that has that feel to it.
