Modern Warfare 2, Won't load Invasion Level

Hi all,

I've hit a bit of a snag here.

When I get to this level I get an error message saying.

can't load invasion.ffl

Anyone got any ideas if there is a fix ??

Hmmm, is it the disk >> See if there is a no cd crack out yet - i would doubt i tthough

Doubt it is the disk as the files will be read from the HDD. Disk should only be used as a security check when the game starts up.

Tried a fresh install? Or even looking to see if others are having the issue?

i googled first - coulnt find anything that was t do about the game

Yer it's a retail disk(s).

I have tried googling but mainly I get ''why won't my copy activate before the release date.... ''

Anyone come across missing levels before?

I've never seen it before no :/ I should have my copy waiting when i get home, I'll let you know what happens...

I had something like this with Dirt for PC, it wouldn't install, I took it back to GAME, they attempted to install it and something on the disk was corrupt, gave me a new one.

That'll be a pain but I guess I'll have to give it a go.

How far in is the invasion level?

I'll report back once I finish installing and play through the game.

Hi all

I got this sorted by reinstalling the bugger again.

Then I got hit by an IW4.exe error, ie basically the same as the pesky IW3.exe error you get in COD4.

Plug in a mic and all is fine.

You would have thought they would have learnt from their prior mistake.

Ah well.

Finished the game, now messing about in multiplayer
