Modern Warfare 2 IWNet Benefits Explained

lol@ all that bull****, cant see how iwnet will stop hackers lol...hackers is part of cod so deal with it. all these so called good points and changes are in the wrong direction, those long lists of servers is what makes cod;). joining friends isnt hard, you can either read a 12 or so digit ip or join thru xfire which is simple as. skill level well if you want high skills u join a high skilled server supported by lan teams(dig,tek9,tcm) or if u want fun just any public, how is that soooo hard..

agreed. I don't see how the players losing control of their game will be better. I'm sorry, but if there was a mod....it was downloadable from the server regardless of the fact that there was a mod, if there was a map you didn't have, same would happen.

I don't quite understand how it will be "better" for clan use...I don't wish to manually add all my clan players AND the people I want to play against (in tournie games) just so I can actually play a FUC***G tournament match...which of course WILL HAVE FREAKING NOOBS JOINING WHICH WE CAN'T FREAKIN KICK!

I'm done. Pre-Order has been cancelled, and will remain so until they change this bulls**t decision. Looks like it's more EVE Online for me until I actually find another game I want to play.

Looks like they completely missed the point there. Clans want to own their own server in the location of their choice they don't want to be automatically assigned to some random server. We want controllability not standardisation.

Ah well everyone I know has cancelled their pre-orders now and given the petition has 180k signatures on it that's a potential £10m loss for Infinity Ward. Maybe it'll show them they really need to be listening to the people that are actually going to buy the game.
