Hi Guys,

Got an fx-60 today:D but god damn this things trashing my mach!!!

It's currently running @ 3.4Ghz 1.62V & after 20 mins of dual cpu burn my machs down to 35 degrees on the display:O!!! With my FX55 @ 3.5Ghz 1.6V the display never went below -51 Degrees!!!

So i'm gonna get the mach modded but do I go the chilly 1 with 402 regas route or just a regas to 402 with desuperheater?

Would a straight regas handle this sort of power output?

Thanks in advance

What stepping is your fx60 if it is a cold bugged one then it would be wise not to go too cold so yeah maybe start with a regas

Speak to Mav as I am sure he was using his R507 unit on the fx60 he has also just got a chilly1 r507 unit off me but I don't think he has had time to use it yet??

Its a 0536RPMW so go chance of cold bug!

I haven't tried high htt speeds yet i'm just using 5:4 memory divider so i'm at 200 x 17 with mem running 250Mhz!

The chip only cost me £550 brand spanking new so I dont care:D

By my calculations the mach 2 under full load is going to high -20's to low -30's:O

Then I wouldnt bother getting it regassed just run the fans on high as long as the mach doesnt shut down saying too hot then you are fine

Mate they all have cold bug mine is the same stepping and mav's just to make sure try runing 250fsb.

All the UK AMD chips at the moment seem to be 0536's 3.4 is a good overclock putting more volts through them doesnt seem to make a difference or better temps. If your mach can handle it with the fans on full whack i wouldnt bother upgrading.
