Ello strangers.

Just noticed all the forum browsing I do nowadays is mobile based

Recently another forum I am currently more active in have moved to Xenforo forum software. Removing the need for tapatalk as it is natively mobile friendly.

Never moved forum software myself so not going to suggest its easy or whatever. Just a passing thought whilst comparing use on my mobile on technibble vs here :)

Cheeers

The reason why we stay on our current one is its taken us years to minimise the spam and we have it to a level right now that its very safe - no way of them posting links to stuff thats unsafe or actually getting stuff up here thats unsafe either...

Plus sadly the mobile side of things isnt that great for advertising banners and we rely on banners for income.

Im sure it will come in time but for now with there being so few of us and us all having jobs that are just site content based its really not going to happen dude sorry

Totally understood. I've been so busy recently too. Started up on my own and overwhelmed trying to kickstart the business.

I've had no money or time for the enthusiast side recently lol. Sad but true. Can't wait till I can afford a nice custom wc setup. Im still rocking the bitfenix prodigy

A little wait

Right now the mobile development technologies are undergoing a rapid change and evolution. And currenlty adopting to mobile platform comes with lot of maintanence activity + increased cost. Maybe we have to wait few more years.

Not sure what that has to do with coding for a mobile browser, but okay..

It wouldn't be a native app, if anything it would be a mobile-styled-up forum skin. The issue is it takes an almighty amount of time and testing. We simply don't have the resources to do that right now.
