Minimum specs for css server?

Whats the minimum we will need to setup a css server in 1U in space? We might be able to get a 3700+ Sandy but wot would be the minimum specs if we were offered free bandwidth?

well we want 16- 20 maybe high tic rate is priority

At least a gig of RAM (at least) and a decent CPU 3.0GHz+

Also a decent HDD

been told by a friend our 3700+ sandy will do fine, 1gb but 1.5gb to be safe, motherboard with gigabit lan and onboard gfx, a fast hdd but more than 40gb needed

TBH, whatever you read as being sufficient specs on the net, add 50%.

Recently the CSS servers have got veyr CPU/Mem hungry, and even give our Dual Xeon 3.6ghz a run for its money

I think you should be Ok with that spec. Just beware that bots suck up CPU like nobodys business - so try and keep them to a minimum
