Microsoft's Windows 10 October 2018 features decreased system downtime

Mine has gone well also. Don't forget to do Disk Cleanup and remove old version. For me it was ~14GB.

Just updated, seems fine and finally the option to have file explorer in dark mode, only took 3 years...

I am rejoicing though, this will be so much better at night.

I have never been window user. For me Norton Commander in the '90s, and now Total Commander are always been way more practical than bunch of windows. But that is the first feature i enabled for the rare instances when i need to use window.

I had an issue with the latest installed Realtek drivers for my Asus motherboard were causing issues like my headphone device not to show up. Uninstalled the drivers and it's working again, but now I have no DTS Sound unfortunately.

Another issue is my Skype, it's just dead. Requires me to login, fails to bring up the login screen. Had to uninstall it, but haven't tried reinstalling it yet

Update went fine but the Nvidia driver I had recently updated to 411.70 was reverted to 398.36. Weird, I don't remember Windows changing my display driver.

Check with ASUS for some updated drivers from them.
