Well I certainly hope that they re-consider the user interface, coz its been over a year of use of Office 2007 and I still do not know where the things go and quite frankly I cannot take it anymore.

Hmmmm, well i've deployed it to well over 3000 people, most of them teachers and they seem fine with it. A bit of a learning curve to start with, but after a couple of weeks they say its better. So judging on that, i'd say it was a change for the better.

They won't be getting rid of the new Ribbon UI, that's for sure.
I don't see what's hard to use about it though? Everything is neatly organized into categories now, instead of random menus and toolbars. It takes some getting used to, sure, but it's not difficult at all.
I agree. At first it can be confusing if you're accustomed to earlier versions, but after a while you get use to it and notice that it's actually more organized and easily accessible now.
