Microsoft faces $5million a day fine

Microsft face a $5million a day fine from the EU, according to the Beeb news

It seems that the EU told MS that they ahd to open up the source codde for their software to enable developers to build programs that run smoothly in their OS...and they aint done it yet...

Also a demand was the MS make an OS with unbundled WMP.....so that other software companies can use their own software for playing.

If microsoft doesn't comply, then they face a fine of 5% of their global turnover - £5million a day.

Microsoft has repeatedly said that it has been working hard to reach agreement with the European Union"

Yeah working hard to both not have to do what they say and not pay the fine they mean.....
