Microsoft has just announced their new Win10 VR series of headsets, bringing the price of PC powered VR down to $299.

I wouldn't be expecting too much - this looks more like the Samsung gear type headset than the fully immersive stuff. It's a good way to get more people on board as it's really cheap in comparison to both the Vive and the Rift. I'd say it's also geared towards VR for *cough* videos or 360 photography and virtual tours rather than precision gaming.

The Bottom one looks like the PS VR without the blue lights. I am interested to see what its like though.
