I have a spare windows 7 license that I got along with my windows vista PC back in 2009. I got that license with the free upgrade offer that microsoft had. It turns out that the disk I got with the windows is a 32 bit version. The license for the windows should't be different be it 32 or 64 bit. Microsoft offers a free download fo the installation iso if you verify the product key. I type in the key and microsoft says I have to contact my OEM for the ISO (the DVD i've got installs a clean copy fo windows 7 nothing oem added I'm sure!) My OEM has gone bankrupt. Would sourcing a 64-bit ISO from somewhere else be considered illegal, will it even work with my license?
[Because if it is illegal then I should buy 8.1 pro off reddit for 15$
