Only issue is lack of dram which will hinder their performance output for longer durations.

Still a 2230 format with 2TB of storage is hard to complain about. Perfect steam deck(really only option) drive as games won't be super intensive on writes, just reads.

Ultimately, the usefulness of this drive will be workloads dependant. As you said, if you aren't doing write intensive work, this should be a great drive.
