Japanese programmers. I bet their codes are well structured and very optimized. Reminded me of Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari). One person, 4.5MB game, great arts and musics, simply awesome.

Meh. It does make a difference. Unlike some asian countries, when they are found corrupted/ done mistake they resign or commit suicide in shame. Discipline, honor, bla-bla. Same race, different nationality, ethnicity makes a difference.

He's quite right though, Not offensive at all if anything it's a compliment.

I have a few Japanese friends and they all take extreme care and pride in their work and that cannot be said for most western workers.

Never said they were but you look at western quality and then you look at Japanese quality, Generally leagues apart with the western side seeming cheap more often than not.

Don't think nationality/ethics has anything to do with programming... It's all about the publisher and money.

Well I guess it depends on the company tbh. If you aren't being paid much then you probably don't want to try hard. Makes sense for anyone. If I was being paid crap I wouldn't want to try hard. Now if we were a start-up business then being paid a lot I wouldn't expect and would try my hardest to get the company growing and get my pay up as well
Some people are just lazy though on the other hand
