Isn't this locked at 60fps?

The specifications are pretty much what you'd expect these days. Heck I'd almost bet that those will be the recommended for GTA V.

I think specs like these are more what we should expect as you say but it's definitely not the case. I think the fact Dicehunter remarked on how reasonable the specs seem goes to show how absurdly unoptimised a lot of games of late have been

Indeed, Just look at Ubisoft mess, The FOX engine used by konami is insanely well optimized and other companies need to take note.

I wonder if the whole game will speed up, like what happened with NFS and when you removed the 30fps limiter. That'd be a giggle.

There is a way around that by adding a time line into your shortcut but if the frames go below 60 the game goes into slowmo ^_^

I do agree, these specs are very reasonable, especailly for these great visuals at 60FPS. Some developers can really learn a lot from this.

It's the FOX engine Konami developed, They are a shining example of how to do it, I'm puzzled why others don't take note of them, Example below, Run at 60fps at a dev conference on relatively standard hardware, Which one is real ? I'll give you a clue, 1 of them ;)

A's gotta be the real one but it's still very impressive!

I was tempted to say this because it looks like they both have very subtle lighting and shadowing artifacts but in different places. They look very good though.

Scary to think that it's in engine, Much like Unreals "Realistic Lighting" Demo -

My guess the vast majority of this games graphics options are going to be in .ini file. Kind of like the Elder Scrolls Games and Crysis 2 and 3 where the graphics customization in game is limited unless you know how to read a .ini file.
