Here's a nice review of some pretty funky looking memory cooling for ya from XYZ Computing

Looks pretty effective:

Here you can see that the memory cooler had to be under the Chill Vent a bit because of some over hang. This meant that outside of both sticks of memory would not get much airflow (the outside of the low stick had the cooler's adhesive strip stuck to it), but the insides and tops would get the full blast of the fans.

This is an "artists impression" of the cooler without the whole randomness of the chiller kit (draws cold air from the btom of the case):

Looks a good idea. I won't be investing as my XP-120 overhangs my memory and does tha same thing. Good for the rest of ya tho!!

For what it is, the Chill Vent Memory Fan is a good product. It sets out to do a very simple job and it does it well. It has a versatile installation and uses two appropriately sized fans and just one molex connector so consumers cannot really ask for much more. Plus it is reasonably priced and can work in conjunction with your Chill Vent.

I'm going to ignore his crap about memory not needing cooling, as he said that some does (news to you??? I think not)

But overall this cheap bit of kit seems to do the job at a good price.Peeps using redline may be advised to look into it!! :D

this seems to be one of the best solutions yet. i am sure that very soon a mobo manufacturer will make specialised holes for compnies to make aftermarket ram coolers. in fact it is an idea!

Wow that looks cool as fuck! As much as i like to think that my case fans do this nicely i think i might invest in one of these kits. Are they available in the states and how much do they cost?
