Megadeth are coming to Israel!!! (Finally)

Metallica and megadeth sound similiar to me lawl. I've inherited my friend's music collection from a recent lan and ive basically got 8 days of music in a playlist. Everytime a megadeth song comes up or whatever, i dont change it, in fact its quite a pleasant change but i couldnt listen to them soley. I prefer softer (if its rock) such as lost prophets but i also like nu metal. I wouldnt mind going to see them i suppose just as long as i dont get to battered in the mosh pits...

Thats why raving is better :p no mosh pits to get you killed :) just drugs

Well Dave Mustaine used to be in Metallica until he got kicked...you can see him credited on the first album. I love their 'Peace sells'' album, but Dave and his big head just bugs me

Dave is an awesome vocalist and guitarist, it will never change. :nono:

Also when dave was in Metallica, he was also one of the writers... so don't disrespect the guy.

Let me tell you how I "found" Megadeth...

It was a cold rainy day, when a friend gave me the Nativity in Black CD as a gift.

This 94 CD was all about Black Sabbath (My favorite band EVER!!!) covers.

I noticed the fact that there was a cover to Paranoid (My favorite song EVER!!!...), so I listened to it.

At first I was "WTF?!", cause it wasn't Ozzy's style at all, and the voice and speed were weird.

But I couldn't hate it, cause it's still had the lyrics of Paranoid (Although they did screw up some of the lyrics... :\ ).

So first I listened cause of my love to the song, but suddenly I realized that I like the performance.

So I looked for information about that band called "Megadeth", and got one of their CD... no need to say I liked it.

That's how I became a Megadeth fan (or a "Megafan").

I said that in a previous post, that he was credited on the album cover...ie he helped pen songs. I'm not disrespecting the man, as I don't know him personally enough to do so effectively. In my opinion, and my opinion only (which is my right on a public forum) the man shoots his mouth off. Agreed he is a talented guitarist and song writer, and although I haven't heard the new album, I'm sure it's killer. Aargh I give up.....

As soon as it's available in Australia I'll give the album a listen :)

The best songs are:

  • Sleepwalker
  • Never Walk Alone... A Call to Arms
  • Pray For Blood
  • A Tout Le Monde

The others are awesome, but these are the best!

Say, do you think I'll get my ass kicked if I'll show up at the Megadeth concert with a Black Sabbath hat?

The reason I'm asking is I just bought the coolest Black Sabbath hat (The one from the 82 tour). :D

I wouldn't risk such a sweet hat!

Piccars? ;)

ROFL, you worry about the hat? what about me?

I bought it off eBay, there's shipping between buying and actually wearing it. :p

EDIT:

lol at some of the posts in this thread  :D

Hope you have a good time m8, Megadeth are pretty good.

I've just been listening to some of the songs from the new album and I like "A Tout Le Monde".

Some of the other tracks are quite good, but I think that one stands out.

I might have to buy the album to listen to the rest :) really sounds quite good.

Meh Black Sabbath, only liked em up to possibly the 4th album, the vynil is still in the house here somewhere.

They`re part of the peak building up to`76 and rightfully so.

Personally thought Ozzy`s rerecording of the old stuff was pretty poor, but it is like listening to u`r favorite stuff being done by some1 else. The guitar licks more or less do it, but the drumming etc ... eesh. Kind of look at it as Sabbath sounding bad without Ozzy, then Ozzy sounding bad without old Sabbath.

Megadeth I`ve never been into, although similarly to ACDC, there`s stuff in there I can listen to without groaning.

Should be great live, I mean I heard of the ThinLizzy guyz playing at the DeepPurple event and was told they were still great, obvious people missing, but still great.
