Mayhems X1 Premix

Minor question I need help in answering.

With Mayhems X1 Premix Fluid do I need to add Biocide? Will it do any harm if I do. (Silver Kill Coil add to res)

I believe the premix has all you need to prevent growth and anti corrosion, if you add more it may effect the ph of the fluid and change it's properties.

Do not add any thing to Mayhem's X1 premix, its balanced and doesn't need any thing extra. Adding a liquid biocide is not a good idea but you if you wish add a kill coil how ever its pointless.

Thanks Guy’s. Guess I should have asked this question before I bought the biocide and coil. Well the coils add, but I won’t add the biocide.

Hello guys.

I take advantage of this thread as I have filled my circuit with mayhems x1 clear blue and some pure h2o, and added some drops of mayhems extreme biocide.

Should I empty the circuit and refill, or shall I stay for a couple of months with it (safe)???

It seems to be a bit hit and miss so just leave it in there, if you get problems its just an excuse to change your hose and have a good flush that you should do every 6 to 8 months anyways

The ph should not change too much knowing that there is a small quantity of pure h2o...

I am a little worried because I contacted Mayhems Support and they told me the mix will ruin and block my system (very catastrofic in my opinión)...

TBH matey Id just run it and forget about it. Youll soon see changes if stuff does happen. Im not going to go into it because Mayhems get funny with me when I say anything negative and I cba with the games.

Run it, keep an eye. Youll know if anything is wrong. Mine went brown!
