Max temps for a x4 955?

I just got my hands on one of theese, with the stock cooler, and max temps are about 55-57c

62c would be my max for a p2 955be.The chip will deterioate fast past1.5v even if temps are fine below 62c.

about 60 to 65c is the max for amd chips. voltage for the x4's should stay below 1.45 or 1.5 above that youll kill it, trust me i did twice

. for the x6's the max voltage should stay below 1.7 but the temps the same. just get your self a good air cooler like a hyper 212 or somethin

62c ubt you will have stability issues if you are oc/benching once you get past 50/55c :/

You will be fine anything under 150c, after that the first damages will be done to the plastic holding in the chip and the thermal paste, this chip will be okay. But the safety on the chip (on most boards) is 95c by default. You want to stay under 65c.
