mATX ROG AM4 when?

AM4 ROG Strix mATX when?

Hello peps! Been craving for AMD ever since the release of Ryzen but so far I've not found any board to my liking.

ROG Strix Z370-G is probably the closest board I've found that fits my theme but so far we've gotten nothing out of team red...

Should I wait till next year for an upgrade perhaps or might there be something around the corner with the Vega AIB release?

Currently sitting on a delidded 4770k w/ Z97 Gene VII housed in a FD Arc Mini R2.

Expecting a new mobo when a GPU gets launched is rather confusing.

Ive not heard anything about an AM4 Gene yet though

Think its unlikely as the Gene series seemed to be associated with Intel chipsets? Please correct me if wrong.

I'd love to see ROG mITX/mATX on Ryzen, it'd persuade me to consider it.

Saying that though, we seem to have had the Impact and Gene series phased out for this Strix stuff as of Z270...I hope not...:(
 
Yes I apologize! I should've clarified myself that I mean't ROG Strix, as that's the current hot topic for Asus.

Currently there's Z370-E/F/H for ATX, G for mATX and I for ITX for Intel where as AMD only got B350-F (ATX) and B350-I (ITX), so eATX and mATX boards are currently missing in that series. It seems Asus put their money regarding eATX on TR4 while lacking anything in the mATX department, unless you count the lower end boards.

Didn't know, only come across it the other day, yes, am aware the OP wanted mATX. ;)

Posted that as it gave a glimmer that perhaps we'll get mATX.
