SSDs launched at CES have more or less reached the limit of current SATA 3Gb/s, so I'm loathe to buy a new motherboard without SATA 6Gb/s + USB3 and I can't see any SFF options available yet? There are a few full size ATX boards, will these complemented with smaller versions in the next month or two?
μATX may be the best option for me overall, but the DFI MI P55-T36 makes mini-ITX look like a very interesting possibility, hadn't really thought about m-ITX until I saw this. I think DFI's board is far too new for them to replace it already, but perhaps there is something similar coming in the near future with the upgraded standards?
