My first reaction to this was:
"YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES OMG YES!"

Did they say anything about DX12?

Was wondering the same too, don't think they did.

Gotta say E3 has been epic for me already. Dark Souls 3 reveal (), a new Hitman game (called it!), Mass Effect, and the entire Bethesda lineup.

Well lets hope they learnt from Mass Effect 3 and start making it good again as the 1st and 2nd were great.
Also interesting they have moved from Unreal to Frostbite. From the looks every EA game will now be Frostbite which is sweet as it is a solid and powerful engine.

Frostbite indeed. We don't know yet however if it's going to have mantle only support or EA will ditch mantle and move to DX12 altogether.

This is a total guess, but I would assume they will move to DX12 if the PS4 can support it as DX12 ships in a few weeks with windows 10. It would only make sense then to unify the graphics api which should save time and hopefully squeeze more performance from the consoles. But on the other hand games are only now starting to utilise multi core functionality properly so the industry might derp out on this one for a while as well.

It's not up to sony.. it's up to MS if they allow it. Ps4 hardware can support it, the only issue may the full GDDR5 system/video memory combo that they would need to alter the sdk for devs so they have an easier time porting between platforms

I loved the first three (yes, even the third), so I'm really excited for this one.

The planetary exploration in the first game was quite good and I'm glad they're bringing it back.
