Well I must say I'm VERY pleased with my $550 build for my moms new workstation computer. I just got everything installed and it fired the first time without a hitch! I'll post up some pix as soon as I get WinXP on it and get it all setup.

Specs:

Intel P4 531 (3ghz, 800mhz FSB, 1mb L2)

Gaysus RX200 mobo w/ built-in everything (works great for a $90 board!)

1gb PQI PC3200 Performance Series RAM

80gb WD Caviar SATA HD

Enermax 420w PSU (same one Nick has)

Toshiba/Samsung DVD-RW

Apex Case ($30, very basic, but very office sleek)

I may just try and squeeze a few more mhz out of it w/o my mumz even knowing before I turn it over to her. :coffee: How high do u think I can get it w/ stock voltage, stock cooler, and ghetto ram without turning it into a giant nuclear disaster?

Looks good Frage and thats a nice overclock if you didn't increase any voltages. btw what timings does the ram run at?

that case is nice! me likes

30 bux @ newegg... Couldn't complain with that, it came with a PSU but i'm obviously not going to take a chance with a psu that comes in a $30 case, lol. Very office friendly design and the power/reset buttons are large and easy to press for people like my mom :)

your mom may be a n00b but pressing a power button is hardly a demanding task ;)

nah looks good frag, shame cases cost big bux to ship. that would be £30/40 after shipping and delivery to UK
