Well, you wanted to see it. It's about 1% complete, and got a lot of work left to do on it.

Nip over to www.connectbasic.com/MarkBASE/ for a load of images. Some are old versions of the same forms, but you can work out the general idea.

------------------------

Features

-Mutiple Rigs can be added and reconfigured

-Automatic BIOS Detection (if possible) of voltages, fsb, multiplier, htt, etc. Can someone fill me in on the "etc". Every option you change in overclocking (i've not touched 64bit yet) needs to be on the program.

-Graphics card core and mem speed log (may have to be manually entered, as may the above point)

-Ability to entered overclocked settings by hand

-Benchmark scores can be entered into the system in the benchmarks section

-Produces comparison graphs and numerical readouts between rigs and rig settings (performance increase / decrease percentage, etc obtained by comparing benchmark scores).

-Commenting system for notes on rigs and settings, etc

Possible Extra features

-Simple CPU Benchmark system

-Signature banner creation (shows stock settings compared with current settings and displays total increase in performace).

-Allows (with a single click) users to search rigs on futuremark to see other peoples achievements with similar setups.

Timescale

The project is estimated to take [removed by me - i cant keep deadlines on personal work :p]

Program / Language

The program will be coded in VB.Net

Security

-Optional password encryption to stop other users using your databases

-Passwords stored as MD5 Encryption Strings

-Code will be Obscured to prevent easy decompiling

Overview of system

A program to record rig information and overclock settings used, to allow overclockers to make notes and produce analysis reports on the performance of their overclocked rig at different settings.

I'll keep start posting piccies properly with descriptions once I get it all sorted out :) and make on the road. It's on hold for another week or so due to AS levels.

Dan.

PS. This is just copied over from my old residence, but it's still practically the same.

From what I can see so far this looks very nice. Keep up the good work :)

Thanks mate :). I'll be sure to get this finished with the next 2 or 3 months. A meeting today with my freelance employer has put me with a lot of work on the horizon tho, lol. It will get finished.

Updates? Only that I'm thinking about moving the whole project to C# instead of VB.Net :p. Hehe. Give me another 10-30 days and I will have loads of updates to start posting as soon as I can start putting work into it.

Danny.
