many overclocking issues

Hii, i have many issues :(, so i guess ill just ask them all. um, first off, when i overclock my cpu to 4.6ghz then i get memmory management BSOD or sometimes IRQ, does this mean i new new ram? or is it cpu's fault? 2 of my ram slots is taking less power than the other two

then, my graphic card, i try overclock up to 1200mhz on core and 1700mhz on memmory, during kondensator it goes 1 minute then gpu load drops and goes up again and my gpu core mhz jumps up and down giving low fps, with 20% more power in CCC it goes a minute before this happens, but with 15% more power in CCC it happens when i start kondensator, is this a psu issue? giving not enaugh stabile current or watt?
the graphic card is 7970 ghz edition

cpu: 3930k stabile at 4.5ghz 1.428vcore
ram: corsair 2 sets 16gb total, at 2000mhz cl 9 "i am getting 1 set platinium ram in middle august at 2400mhz 16gb since my cpu could handle it from test i did"
psu: 3 yr old corsair HX 1050watt "getting new too"
my psu has given me alot of issues but still :(

this would help me learn much

The memory management thing - no you dont need new RAM, that just means you overclock isnt stable.

Can you stick to overclocking one thing at once though? If you overclock say RAM and CPU and it blue screens - you dont know what has failed.

You need to read up more on things before you just plunge in at the deep end.

As for the RAM upgrade, anything over 1600mhz is pointless. Dont buy it just because your CPU supports it, actually think and ask if it would be beneficial in any way whatsoever.
Also, by 'kondensator' do you mean kombustor? In which case - that's another version of Furmark, which can kill GPUs... Use Unigine Heaven instead and run that on loop.
Dont know how better to answer this, you need to make a new thread for the CPU and GPU overclocking really...too confusing to answer both on 1 thread

my cpu was stabile, my uncule allways said tht i need to overclock one thing each time to check what is stabile and what is not, so thats not the issue, my cpu was stabile.
my cpu can handle 2400 mhz max from a kit my uncule borrowed me. heaven was stabile on gpu. i want 2400 since of the speed and benchmarks, my cpu can go up to 4.8ghz with it from the kit he borrowed me

If it's blue screening then it obviously isnt...

What memory, cpu and motherboard are you using?

Underclock your RAM to 1333mhz and run prime for 12 hours. If it blue screens, the cpu is not stable. If it doesnt, then go ahead and put up the clocks on your RAM.
When you do come to overclock your RAM again, set it to the exact rated specifications ie 2133mhz with cas timings 10-11-10-28 or whatever they are

it does bluscreen of different ram tht i normally use, not on the 2400 one, cpu was stabile!!! i used intel burn test for 5 hours.

my pc didnt want to start up almost today, i hadto start it many times before it started up, like click "powered on" 4 seconds "shutted down"

What RAM and motherboard are you using? You are making it very difficult to help as you are not listening, and exclamation marks at the end of sentences just put people off helping you.

i was using gskill 2400mhz cl 10. but iv tried everything u has asked, my cpu is stabile thats not the problem, i was wondering if its my ram or psu and gpu or psu.
my motherboard is x79 UD5 gigabyte on newest official bios 12

I'm pretty impressed if you've managed to run a 12 hours prime test in the last 10 minutes....

I dont understand the problem then.
There is nothing wrong with the PSU - 1050w is massive overkill for your system.
Not going to be your gpu while stressing cpu...

So your RAM is rated at 2400mhz, and you're struggling to get it to run at 2400mhz? Have you checked every setting for the RAM is at what it should be in order to run the RAM at that speed? ie - Ram voltage, every CAS timing...

Have you got the latest motherboard drivers + BIOS?
And no, your GPU does not use 600 watts - that's just the required power for your whole system running that PSU

yup i got the latest, ok i misunderstod my readings, my system is peaking at 950 watt on cpu and gpu max loads,
i still got the destroyed HDDs connected could they be drawing alot??

That's BS (I find myself saying that a lot over the last couple of days)

The 7970 GHz edition draws max 314w. You need to check your info.

but tht was me missunderstanding i wrote that, it sayd tht recomended psu at 600watt, but i found note from the tests i did and it said 950watt on max load of whole system gpu-cpu

ok...yours is 1050w so what point are you trying to make?

We're going round in circles here. You arent listening to any of the advice we're giving you...
Completely ignored the fact that any RAM speeds faster than 1600mhz make no performance difference whatsoever in applications. Set your RAM to 2133mhz, get it stable at that, forget about 2400mhz cause you dont need it that fast as it will only cause issues. Once you've done this, run Prime95 for 12 hours, to check for stability.

Dont post more stuff like 'but my cpu is stable' until you've actually done this for 12 hours, because if you're getting BSODs, something obviously isnt stable, and Prime will test this.

i have tried setting ram to 1000 mhz and i can overclock to 4.8ghz with no errors, but my ram volts are weird, as my ram is drawing 1.48 on a-b and 1.664 on c-d
both are set to 1.65.
but bluescreens are often caused by drivers not hw and on internet is says memmory management is usualy ram thts faulty

Well since you think it is your RAM, try running Memtest to see if you have a faulty kit of RAM. Run it at 1333, 1600, 1866, 2133, and 2400 by setting everything manually in the BIOS and run memtest for a while and see how it goes.
