I'm still a bit sceptical at the setting.. Mafia II was damn near perfect with the atmosphere, the cars, the guns, even the Playboy collectibles I'm having a hard time seing this becoming a game that takes itself seriously enough to make you feel like you're in the 'nam era

Indeed. Only played the Demo for Mafia 2 and it was great fun. Replayed it many many times.. to bad it's not available to buy anymore
