Mach II ST, problems :/

Hello,

first, excuse me for my english, i am french ;)

Last week, i have installed a Mach II ST on my P4 3.2E.

But i have a problem. If I don't put enough seal, i have problems of condensation.

If I put more seal, I have probles with temps : -15°c idle and more than 20°c in ful load.

When I have just a little steal, i have 4250MHz @1.6V @-20°c (idle) / -8°c (full load).

What can I do please ? :(

If you wantto see how I put seal :

Thanks for your help :)

Edit : Today, i had another problem. The colling unit starts, but doesn't make any ice. When i take the evapo in had, i don't feel anything.

The Mach's fan turns, but the compressor seems not work :(

Someone have an idea ?

if i were you mate i would start by putting dielectric grease in the cpu socket and on the back of the mobo .then i would use more washers when i install the head wich will get you better contact between the evap head and the cpu ,should do it

Someone told me to do that. I will try it i think. Do you have done it ? Do you have pictures of your installation, to see how i must put the grease ?

Thant you very much ;)

there are some pretty good anti-condensations guides here

www.octools.com

imo some are a bit overkill, tune it to your prefreance or at least until that water disappears..

did any of the hardware survive btw? never seen so much water
