Mach II st boot problems

I need help, i've just built the ultimate system pelt water cooled x800xt graphics and prometia cooled cpu. This is my first prometia system however I had a water cooled computer before. My problem is as follows, when I plug my prometeia in to the mains it starts making noises as if its powering up. In the display it says: "Boot Loading

waiting "

The display continues to display this message even when the computer starts and when I press the power button the computers turns on immedietly. Then when I turn the computer off the prometeia is still displaying the same message. The cooling performance is still good however I really need that boot delay for my overclocking. I'm really stumped on this one especially since I have no previous knowedge of prometeias. I'm quite technically minded and very computer literate but I might not be able to solve this on my own. Someone please help me what could be the problem?

I'm using the prometeia on a an asus p4c800-e deluxe canterwood intel motherboard, however my prometeia is an st model and therefore I dont have a usb cable.

i hope someone can help you, i remember having the same problem with my Mach 2 and flashing soldved the problem. I read that the heater on the Mach Head does not turn on when the Mach is in that mode which can cause condensation.

Just to check, do mach II st's have the lcd displays at the front, and if I do have the st model can I connect a usb cable to the pcb? Also is it usual for the firmware to corrupt like this if thats what has happened? Is there no way to reset it so to speak?

Oh and thanks for your input on my problem Wingz, hopefully I can resolve this issue if I can get some more of you experienced Prometeia users to contribute to the thread :)

Ok i've got an update to my situation.

I made a usb cable to plug into the prometeia pcb. I'm not sure whether its connected correctly however when I started the and plugged the cable into the motherboard windows detected the prometeia. I then installed the drivers download from this site. At first the prometeia device could not be started by windows. But after rebooting windows I could see the device in the device manager working without any problems. My problem now is that neither the mach ii control centre or the boot loader recognises that the prometeia is plugged in. Without getting these programs to work and recognise the prometeia I cannot update and fix the corrupted firmware. Anyone got any ideas?

As far as I know not many st units take either a display or usb cable I know my st wouldnt so I bought a mach2 instead if you have plugged in a display and it says bootloading you may be lucky and have an early model which may be able too

I wish I could consider myself lucky. But at the moment it would appear that I have a mach II unit that does not give me any boot delay because the firmware is corrupted. Also I have no way to update the firmware because the update software does not recognise that the prometeia is connect via usb even though windows sees the device.

OMG I have done it, i've solved the problem, flashed the firmware and now have a fully working prometeia. yes yes yes yes yes yes yes, i'm slightly happy in case you didn't notice, so says me with big grin on face.

I found the following web page http://www.compressorcooling.com/html/nventiv.html downloaded boatloader version 1.01 it recognises my prometeia, I then flashed to firmware version 7.98 download of extremeprometeia. Theres also a version of prometeia control centre on the site that recognised my prometeia, and I now have a working windows control centre for the prometeia. The usb cable I made was a linear one as per instruction in the threads on the forum using a cable of my old case and an internal usb cable spliced together. This is great the person I brought this off told me the usb thing didn't work now I have a usb eneble mach ii st with an lcd display on the front panel of the unit that gives me temps and everything. :)

Yeah thanks everyone I am well chuffed now if I can only sort out this crap mobo that is really limiting my overclocks.
