lo, im plannin on buyin a machII from phil and was wonderin if i ave 2 upgrade my psu aswell???
Phil Stanbridge said:Guys, In my honest opinion I would use the most powerful psu you can find to power your Mach II.
This is the official blurb from nVENTIV:
Question: Which power supplies can be used with Mach II unit?
Answer: The Mach II Cooling System does not impose any extraordinary or abnormal load conditions for your PSU. Your only reason for exchanging the PSU would be your desire for a more extreme Overclocking. The compressor is driven directly from your Mains supply (115/230V).
At the end of the day you are wanting to achieve the best overclock possible so why limit that with a crappy psu. I have had confirmation back from the states that my PC Power & Cooling 510 Turbo Deluxe's are nearing ready for me. These are the best power supplies money can buy and although they are expensive at just under £200 each, they will not limit you in any shape or form. I certainly will be upgrading.
