Loving my new rig

Most of specs in sig bar w/c which consists of: thermochill pa120.3, ddc ultra, d-tek fuZion, mcw60, asus fusion nb...

Still playing with settings but this q6600 will super pi @ 4.1... Might give some more juice for a suicide run :)

Just doing a prime on all 4 cores @ 3.7, 1.56v. Temps are 70,70,61,61... Keep lowering the voltage so hopefully get 3.7 @ under 1.55v.

I'm off sick so can play all day :) (i am actually sick btw :()

Also Bioshock runs like butter @ 1920x1600 max everything :D

wow very nice!!

Shows that your GPU was bottlenecked? so that means no SLI for me on my X2 :(

Congratz on getting it up and running finally!

Outstanding tbh. It's great to slap all those nice bits of kit together, and going down the list - there are some top-notch stuffs, and be ecstatic about the final outcome.

Looking at quads in general, it bothers me greatly in the long-run how they have core temps of that degree of difference on a small chip. Bothers me in terms of temp-difference on a circuit not being very healthy. Few degrees - ok. But u got 9 and I've seen other similar and more. I hope the temp readers are wrong tbh.

I'll get some pics up soon, probably in the old rig section... Thing is, I haven't done any cable management, the v1000 is jam packed. I manage people not cables damnit :D Also could have run the tubing better but I was in the wrong frame of mind at the time (lets just say cheating ho and leave it at that).

I decided against the thermochill grill as it looks ill fitting against the 120mm blow holes... So i need to do something there.

Thanks for the kind words, infernal-li is finally running.

Darkorb - unsure mate, had bioshock for a while but no rig to play it on!

Rast - i think if I fiddle with the wb mount, tighten one side, loosen the other, I can reduce the temp spread to a few degrees. Also, fuzion do the nozzles for quad cores - splits the incoming water in two halves, one over each c2d core (if you catch my drift q6600 = 2 c2d's on one die)

I think I can tighten my mem timings too as I'm on stock volts there 5-4-4-12. The p35's uprated mem controller is solid.

Edit: Mem not happy, just did a blend test after hours of small fft's - looks like i'm back to 5-5-5-15 till i figure this out...

Few pics - late and i'm tired so they are crap...

Not much clearance between rad/fan/gfx/xfi

Need to do cable mgt and find some sort of grill option

Tel me about it - at one point it didn't look like it was going to fit - yeah i'll top up the res :)

Its black F1, didn't do the internals too neatly as i have no window! Kinda dissapointed with the untidyness but pleased with performance... Once the sides are on its all good - small and out of the way

ah so this is what you mentioned in ur PM... see what you mean now, it is close!!!!!!!

Im deffo gonna use some Black F1 in one of my rigs, it looks awesome!!

PS: Im tempted to buy the Commando mobo off you!!

I hope you've got that Asus Mofset fan on a controller as well... I find mine to be fairly noisy on the full 12V!

Nah its fine, i think i'm going to step down from these 140cfm deltas to the 100cfm 25mm deltas... they will be about 8/10db quieter

Very nice, what isn't that Corsair RAM cooler mounted, or is that another PCs inside?

I was playing around with 2gb/4gb so I left it off for easy access...

This isn't finished yet hence the general mess lol

LOOK OUT, HERR SCHMIDT'S DANGEROUS NOW!!

Lol, just kidding dude, very nice rig! You say the cable management isn't good, but I say it looks pretty clean in there, especially with all the watercooling you've shoved in there. (That must've taken a schnit-load of time to get figured out and completed.)

Keep rockin' on dude!

very nice rig, i'm envious.

i'm loving the black tubes/dye, it's very befitting of your setup as a whole. tight fit, but looks good. can't wait to get the money to set up my own, i really need to upgrade :/.
