Steam seems to be on a streak with the discounts; Lost planet can now be purchased for EUR 4,99 which is probably GBP 3,49.

Reviews are moderate, but might just download it for the price :)

O_o

I payed over £30 for that game.

But that was like when it came out so lol.

Discounts ftw!

For 5 Euros. Yes anything for than 15 Euros not because the game is kinda old and LP2 is coming out soon.

Story is pretty good actually.

Hmmm. Go on then. Shame about the large download. I'll buy it now (since it's a weekend deal) and download it tomorrow. Thanks for that. :)

Brother got this now, I gotta say its a terrible port! It's control tips are still for the 360!

:D, I just got the demo for benchmarks lol. I did purchase it for PS3, tried to join a game and none was found, game was dead. I played demo on PS3 and there was LOADS of players. Weird really.

Any other bad comments about Steam to the side, u can't mock the prices they're chucking titles out at.

I know, amazing game for £3.45, from what I watched it looks pretty good, just the controls etc..

Yes it's a terrible port, devs didn't even take the effort to at least change the control tips in the campaign. For €5 however, it's a nice thing to sometimes go berserk on :p

Edit: and yes, can't argue with the steam prices at the moment. According to an article on tweakers.nethttp://tweakers.net/nieuws/58573/valve-vindt-games-te-duur.html (major dutch tech site) the sales of the weekend deal games have raised with 300%, and some games which were not named have even been said to raise to 18.000%. Yes you read that right, a factor 180. Left4dead made more money when it was discounted to €30,- than on the launch. Valve's conclusion: games are too expensive.

That was probably half life anniversary for €1 though :p

english articlehttp://www.edge-online.com/features/valve-are-games-too-expensive which was also t.net's source.
