Lost my Mach II's fuse cap :(

The subject line says it all... I've blown 3 fuses already (despite having surge protection) and managed to lose the fuse cap. Any idea where I could get one? And what type to ask for (if it has a name)?

Many thanks! :)

Fatty,

1st off thanks for the quick reply. The one the mach 2 comes with doesn't "screw in" per se. If you check the one that it really used, the removing/replacing process doesn't involve the kind of screwing you'd associate with the kind of screw you'd use in wood, for instance. The fuse cap in the mach 2 "locks" itself in; what I mean is, to remove the fuse cap, you take the screwdriver head, press on the fuse cap and twist by a half-turn, then it pops out (removing the fuse involves the opposite procedure).

The fuse cap you showed seems to be the kind you screw in like a screw for carpentry, etc... and not the "locking" kind I described above that is in the mach 2.

*Sigh* I really feel like I'm in rut :( Can't use a $6K computer because of a piece of plastic worth a few dimes & nickels :(

duuuude where the hell did the cap go how could you loose it ?? ffs look gimme your address and 500pounds I'll get you a new one lool nah pm me I'll get you a new cap

Fatty,

Lol, it was lost under some rather suspicious circumstances... Before going to bed, I set the cap (with a blown fuse in it) on the dinner table to remind myself that I need to get a new fuse. Next morning... GONE. Checked EVERYWHERE, and not a trace. I think my dad must've thrown it away >:(

I actually went to this huge surplus electronics store... They had all the parts imaginable... Except for a suitable fuse cap!

Anyway, PM sent... and thanks :)
