Loop theories!

So, I sat down in my bed watching some TTL as my usual eveningritual.

Watching him build the black/green project with the smex mobo and finish it off with a tripple (AKA 360 rad).

It swooshed through my mind as he said the that the loop "has to be" res>pump>rad>block as I thought I'd build it otherwise?

Heat rises, and as I saw that the res comes up alot higher than the block iself, so I thought why not go res>pump>block>rad?

For aslong the res lies higher than the block itself, and the rad even higher it'd not make a difference.

Although my theory draws up in my head as if the hose is more straight upwards it'd transport more heat than if it'd be verlically upwards pointing.

That is just this theory I've got, but anyways

The Res creats heat, and it would be unwidse to go pump blocks becasue your warming up the water befor it even has the chance to touch components. as well if yuor going for seperate pumps and res not an all in one its best to put the pump after the res.

Some people argue that its better to reverse the flow, have the hot water go up, but tbh i only will go with this if your rad is at the bottom, if your rad is top mounted its best to have the traditional set up.
