Loop Configuration

Heya everyone,

I should have pretty much all my hardware by tomorrow ready for install, but I have a question as to what loop configuration I should use?

Should I go:

EK Res/Pump > Radiator > CPU Block > Back to EK Res/Pump

or

EK Res/Pump > CPU Block > Radiator > Back to EK Res/Pump

or wouldn't it make much difference because I'm just cooling the CPU?

Cheers!

Doesn't really make a difference, just make your loop as neat as you can whilst using as least tubing as you can.
Once the coolant is running around all the parts, the temps will be the same no matter which way you have you loop order.

Thanks chap,

Yeah, I figured just as much. But just wanted to make sure :)

I'll be aiming to get the best looking install I can using the least tubing.

Hopefully tomorrow goes to plan without hitch, but I'll most likely update this thread if not! I plan on doing a install log too.

As long as its res - pump the rest doesnt really matter - just remember the cardinal OC3D watercooling rule.

Make it tidy - little hose as possible

I'll try, Using an AIR 540 case so the Res/Pump will be round the other side of the case, but I'm sure I'll work something out
