FCG does some test with an upcoming X3220 quad-core Xeon. And look what board he's running :) P5B Deluxe which means that the quad-core Xeon's are capable of running on the 965/975 chipsets mefinks, unlike the quad-core C2D

s (so people say, I'm still very skepticle about this though... I don't see why it wouldn't work??).

Great clocks, and great results. Can't wait for these baddies to start shipping!

Crazy performances ?!?!??!!

Frag why are they called Core 2 Quad ?

13k on 3dmark06 >.< kinda pales the 1.7 I get out of this lol

Man, I'm still trying to break the 10K barrier with my 7900GT's... guess I gotta get a pair of 8800GTX/S's! Any word if nVidia still plans on making midrange GT videocards?

Man, I just looked at the screenshots, whoa...

And from what I saw, ATI Radeon X1900 videocards were used, not 8800GTX/S's.

When I looked at the SiSandra tests and how the quad-core left all the other cpu's wondering what 'lightspeed' means, the first thing that came to my mind was Will Farrell saying,"GOOD LORD!"

TJS

PS: I looked at the screenshots again, and I heard Graham Chapman's 'King Arthur' (Monty Python and the Holy Grail) shouting,"JESUS CHRIST!" LOL, no one says that better than Chapman...
