looking for an old thread

Was on another forum, and they are discussing how much RAM, XP uses. Now i remember there was a thread on here - i think - that said how much it is possible for it to use.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I tried searching, not always a total fool, here is the result of searching for RAM, in all posts,

i tried a few queries, and such, but no luck.

Like i sais, it was about the maximam memory xp utilises, but there was also something about memory allocation to designate all the available memory.

its not really important, but was hoping someone would remeber it.

Whenever I use the search function it's returned good results. Try putting in "how much ram xp uses" or "ram" with "xp".

Maybe the search function is case sensitive?

It does seem a bit erratic at times. I might try switching to a different searching method and see how that goes.

Alternatively you can use the search function on the homepage.

Well, I knew the title of a thread and couldn't find it. I entered it in and no results. I manually sifted through the news section and found it on the millionth page... It had almost the exact title i was searching for!

I was going to put it as a sugestion but never got around to it...

Just tried searching for 'ocz' in all forums - nothing.

Tried ocz and cryo-z in all forums - 2 things, not what I wanted.

Tried both terms again this time in news... Nothing.

Really weird. U can put things in the key-word searcher and get nothing. But the post one on the right seems to be ok. Wonder if the key-word is pointing to the right place ??
