Little help :/

Hi,

I recently upgraded to a x1950 pro (as some of you might know) and it isn't what i expected.

I un-installed the drivers and installed the new ones properly and it worked successfully. Also, i used the cable to attach it to the psu.

my old card was the 8400gs and worked perfectly without low frames on WoW

i started up WoW with the pro and had 10 frames.. and oblivion had 14!

(lower than the 8400gs by 20-50 frames)

What...the...f***

my led fan is alot less brighter than before, so i think its Power supply related.

Does anyone know what could be causing it?:yumyum:

Uninstall the drivers again, run DriverCleaner to get rid of both nVidia and ATi drivers, and then trying reinstalling.

If not, it sounds like it could well be the PSU problem you mentioned

450watt should be more than enough really.

I just bought a new case and a new PSU today. Got an arctic 600W one. at least now it wont starve
