lil display problem

hey

first of all i havent been here for a while and i must say u guyz did a nice job with the site

anyways i got a lil prob my computer shut down (stupid power outtage) and when i turn it back on like 30 secs later the windows menu on the bottom dissapeared (u know the thing with the clock and the start menu opener) anyways anyone know how to bring that up

Well does this happen when u start windows ?

Press Ctrl + Alt + Del , this will open Windows Task Manager

On menu Click File > New Task

Type explorer.exe and click Ok.

If you dont have the desktop and start button etc running explorer.exe usually creates or runs these and if its running already it will open up a dialog box similar to my computer dialog box. Good luck and welcome back.

thanks mate i got it workin from another method the old system recovery and the reason it wasnt showing up was because i got those "windows vista" themes and the custom menu on the top of my desktop was somehow interfering but since thats solved i guess this thread can be closed thx again tec
