Ooooooo I've got a surprise for your lot Over the past two weeks i've set about pimping a Lian Li V1000b Plus II.

Didn't really take many pictures of the process.....at all. But if you flick through the review pictures you should recognize whats what.

Seriously..... wtf?

4. Powder coated and somewhat finished:











Will be installing either a heavily tinted window or black mesh (whatever i can get first) in the window hole, adding some brighter LED lighting and stealthing the radiator fan wires so stay tuned

ooh also gonna pop the Lian Li badge back off and fill its space with a vinyl

nah thats an apogee with a sprayed hold-down plate

yea its turned out OK, still got more to do on it though

Nice job man - So who did the colouring of the case?

I say get the inside lit up more with some bright coloured water and then put mesh on the side. Not many people on here with mesh, if any?

Yea I've gone for the cleanest look possible, got some stealthing to do still.

Don't think I'll be lighting the water, gone for black feser 1 for the subtlety. Got some mock up LED strips i've made in there at the moment and it looks pretty nice so I might knock up some more of them, if not I'll get some cathodes and use the LEDs for underlighting the case.

And yea I sprayed some mesh black last night, gonna give it another coat now and see how it looks

Well as the temps in the cases review shows, the ambient temp in the case is only a tiny bit above ambient, so my CPU is running at about +5*C idle and has so far maxed at 54*C @ 1.5v during orthos and dual sPi 32m.

And no, the chipset was left as is

yea the perforated front is a winner in terms of temps, just a shame its a bit limiting when it comes to modding and styling

Dude, your rig is seriously fit. Don't let my rig hear me saying that but I deffo would mate lol.

It's so simple yet so effective. One of the best on here imo. I have that case and really need to do something with it. Maybe powdercoating is the way forward... What's the damage there? £?
